What is a Founding Member?

Will the free plan always be free?
Yes, the Free plan will always be available with basic features. Founding Members get the Pro plan features for free — forever, even after we introduce paid plans.
What does "5% platform fee" mean?
On the Free plan, ReferSales takes 5% of the commissions you pay to your promoters. For example, if a promoter earns $100, you'd pay $105 total ($100 to them + $5 platform fee). Founding Members and Pro users pay 0% — the promoter gets everything.
Why do I need a business email to be a Founding Member?
We want Founding Members to be real businesses with websites. A business email (e.g. you@yourcompany.com) tells us you have a real business. You can still use the Free plan with any email address.
Can I use ReferSales for lead generation?
Yes! You can set up a "Pay Per Lead" program where promoters earn a fixed bounty for every qualified lead (form submission, booking, enquiry) they refer. Great for insurance, real estate, clinics, tuition centres, and service businesses.
